The rapidly growing body of literature in the biomedical domain presents opportunities for the development of technologies that can automatically analyze it to accelerate research.

We are making available the following datasets/algorithms

Search for Gene and Protein Names
The GAPSCORE algorithm identifes gene and protein names in text.
Search for Abbreviations
We have searched all of MEDLINE for abbreviations and their definitions.
Access these tools
We provide XML-RPC interfaces so that users can integrate these algorithms into their own code.
Comparison of Words in Malaria and Yeast Abstracts
